Data licensing

Data you can train on — with consent from everyone in the room.

Nuuduu collects demonstrations during real service work in customer environments. Before an episode enters Atlas, authorization is obtained from the professional performing the task and from the customer receiving the service — the person who owns or operates the space being recorded.

That customer consent is what unlocks access to a rich variety of real environments: homes, cafés, offices, warehouses, clinics, and commercial kitchens. Not replicas. The places where service actually happens.

Illustrative authorization record. Customer consent grants access to the environment being recorded.

Why it matters

Most robotics data skips the customer — and the environment.

Lab datasets and teleoperation booths rarely need permission from a café owner, a facility manager, or a homeowner. You get repeatable setups, but not the messy diversity of real operating environments.

Nuuduu is different. Collection happens where service actually occurs — and the service customer must agree before anyone records in their space. That consent from the customer is not a formality. It is what gives Nuuduu lawful access to the environments robotics teams need most: real layouts, real clutter, real lighting, real tools, and real variation across geographies and building types.

The professional wearing the camera consents too. Both parties understand that structured training data may be licensed for AI and robotics use. Episodes that reach Atlas carry provenance you can inspect — including where and under what authorization they were captured.

Consent chain

Authorization at the point of collection.

Every demonstration is tied to a real booked service. Consent is captured in the workflow — not bolted on after the fact.

  1. Service is booked

A Nuuduu professional arrives to perform genuine work — cleaning, maintenance, hospitality, or another physical task — at a customer’s site.

  2. Customer consent

The service customer — the homeowner, site operator, or business that receives the work — agrees to recording in their environment before capture starts. This is what grants access to the space itself: the kitchen layout, the office floor plan, the warehouse aisle, the hotel room.

  3. Professional consent

The Nuuduu professional performing the demonstration also provides authorization. Both parties understand that structured training data may be licensed for AI and robotics use.

  4. Provenance travels with the episode

Consent and authorization status are recorded alongside episode metadata — including environment type, location context, and collection site. Buyers can verify provenance for the datasets they license through Atlas.

Environment access

A rich variety of real environments.

Because Nuuduu obtains consent from service customers — not just collectors — Atlas can grow across the environments where physical work actually happens. That diversity is difficult to replicate in a single lab or teleoperation facility.

Homes and apartments
Offices and co-working spaces
Restaurants and commercial kitchens
Hotels and hospitality
Retail and stockrooms
Warehouses and logistics
Healthcare and clinics
Property and facility maintenance
Construction and trades sites

Each environment comes with customer authorization — and the natural variation in layout, objects, tools, and workflow that makes training data useful for deployment, not just benchmarks.

Atlas license

Built for commercial AI development.

When you purchase data through Nuuduu Atlas, you receive a license designed for how robotics and ML teams actually work — not a research-only carve-out.

Commercial use

Train, fine-tune, evaluate, and deploy models for robotics, computer vision, simulation, and related AI products — including commercial deployment.

Perpetual rights

A worldwide, non-exclusive, fully paid-up license for the datasets you purchase. No recurring royalties on models you build.

You own your outputs

Models, weights, policies, embeddings, and other outputs developed using Licensed Data belong to you. Nuuduu does not claim ownership of what you train.

Real-world diversity

License data captured across customer-authorized environments — not a single staged set. Search Atlas by task, environment, objects, and geography.

No attribution required

Ship products without mandatory credits or citations. You may voluntarily note that data came from Nuuduu Atlas if you choose.

Transform freely

Convert formats, segment episodes, combine with your own data, annotate, augment, and create derivatives — whatever your training pipeline requires.

Raw data stays licensed

The license covers your use and your outputs. You may not redistribute, resell, or publish the source dataset itself — but you can commercialize the models and software you build with it.

Privacy by purpose

Use human activity for AI and robotics development — pose estimation, manipulation learning, scene understanding. The license prohibits re-identification, profiling, and biometric identification of recorded individuals.

If consent changes

Nuuduu tracks authorization status over time. If a withdrawal or legal restriction affects source data, affected buyers receive notice. Lawfully completed training and deployed models are not automatically invalidated — the agreement distinguishes source data from the models you build from it.

License data with clear provenance. Build with confidence.

Search Atlas for episodes across real customer environments, or contact us to discuss collection where both professional and customer consent unlock the spaces you need.
